A brand new enemy has teamed up with Mario's past enemies in an attempt to rule the Mushroom Kingdom. Can you stop him?
Simple yet challenging. SMBX Darkson will have you speeding through easy levels, and taking your time in much harder levels.
Concept / Idea
Before SMBX Darkson, we were making SMBX games but not releasing them so we could get more ideas and so we could practice our skills. One idea we had was just to made a random Mario game with new worlds. However, we also had an idea for a game in the future that would be a clone of Sonic the Hedgehog. We decided to combine these ideas together and SMBX Darkson was the result.
The Plot
An evil Toad by the name of Darkson decided to team up with Mario's past enemies in order to defeat him once and for all. However, it didn't take long for Mario to find out what he was doing and he decided to put a stop to it. Mario must chase down Darkson through 7 exciting worlds
to put a stop to his evil plan.
Design / Gameplay
We have designed this game so there are levels where you just speed through them easily, and so there are levels that are complex and take time to get through. We have tried our best to introduce something new in each level to keep you immersed in the game.
